Q1 2025: New School Opens in Chiransa

A New Beginning for Chiransa

We are overjoyed to share that our newest school facility in Chiransa officially opened its doors in March 2025. This milestone represents years of planning, fundraising, and community collaboration.

The Journey

The journey to build this school began two years ago when community leaders approached us about the urgent need for educational facilities in Chiransa. Many children were walking over 5 kilometers each day to attend the nearest school, and during the rainy season, attendance dropped dramatically.

The Impact

The new school now serves 200 children from Chiransa and surrounding villages. The facility includes:

  • 6 fully equipped classrooms
  • A library with over 500 books
  • Clean water and sanitation facilities
  • A playground for recreation
  • Solar panels for reliable electricity

Community Involvement

This project would not have been possible without the incredible support of the local community. Parents volunteered their time and labor, local craftsmen contributed their skills, and community leaders helped coordinate every aspect of the construction.

Looking Forward

As we celebrate this achievement, we are already planning for the future. Our next goal is to establish a scholarship program specifically for children with disabilities in the Chiransa area, ensuring that every child has access to quality education.

Thank you to all our supporters who made this dream a reality. Together, we are building brighter futures.
